25 May 2022 : 2022-23 admission prices, season tickets and new junior matchday membership

Runcorn Linnets can now confirm first-team admission prices for the 2022-23 season.

Matchday entry will be £10 for adults and £7 for concessions (age 65+ and 19-22 year olds in full-time education)

The new prices represent a £2 increase in both categories - this is the first rise since we joined the Pitching In Northern Premier League.

The forthcoming season will be our fifth at Step 4.

Free entry will continue for supporters aged 18 and under. Hopefully this will at least maintain and perhaps increase last season's unprecedented junior and youth support while facilitating family attendance.

Season tickets, covering admission to all home league games and representing a good saving across the 19 matches, will be £150 for adults (£100 concessions).

To guard against any repeat of last season when regular junior fans were unable to obtain a priority ticket for the play-off final as a member or season ticket holder, there will be a junior (18 and under) matchday membership.

This will cost £15 and include a season ticket and a free scarf.

All junior members who play for Runcorn Linnets JFC will be able to claim back £5 towards the cost from the junior section.

Junior matchday members will also obtain priority in any big match ticket allocation.

Club chairman, Peter Cartledge  said: "The Trust Board has carefully considered at length our admission pricing structure - trying to be as fair as possible to fans while seeking to protect the club's financial sustainability.

"Eventually, with much reluctance and regret, it was decided (after four years of charging the Northern Premier League minimum) that we need to raise our admission prices.

"This will help to offset the major further upsurge in our running costs and overheads, resulting from high-rising inflation, while giving us a better chance of remaining competitive in the season ahead.

"Club finances are still suffering from the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic and despite increased support last season, income is not at the required level.

"We have succeeded against the odds in freezing our entry prises for the last four years.

"It is now necessary that we move to admission charges, which are comparable to our rivals."

The club will extend its offer of a £2 reduction on adult admission to Halton Leisure Card holders but this only applies to League matches.

Applications for season tickets and junior membership should be emailed to commercial@runcornlinnetsfc.co.uk

This is also the address for all associated enquiries.

The club will reply with arrangements for payment and collection.
