Teenage full back Kain moved to Linnets from Mossley in December 2021, having joined them from FC United of Manchester in the summer.

Kain has shown himself to be an accomplished all-round performer on the left of defence.

He spent two years with Mansfield Town Under 18s before joining FCUM in 2020-21.

Kain left in the 2022-23 close season.
