Dapo appeared 43 times for Linnets in 2021-22, making 17 starts and scoring 11 goals. Unfortunately, his contribution last season was cut short by injury.

An immediate fans favourite, Dapo had arrived in December 2020 after a stint in professional football in Germany with SV Meppen of  3.Liga - the level immediately below the two Bundesliga divisions. He played in their Under 19s side.

Born in Ireland, Dapo is a right winger who can also operate on the left.

He previously spent three years at Hyde United.

This was initially as part of the youth set-up before moving up the first team.

Dapo joined the Hyde Academy as a 16 year old from Sunday League side, Reddish Villa in July 2016.

He emerged as one of the key attacking threats for the Tigers' youth team, scoring 30 goals in one season.

Dapo broke into the first team in 2018-19, making 13 NPL Premier Division  appearances - plus one in the League Cup at home to Runcorn Linnets as we went through on penalties after a 1-1 draw.

Dapo left the club in summer 2023.
