07 Jun 2022 : Stalwart skipper Peter Wylie departs for City of Liverpool
Runcorn Linnets club captain and longest-serving player Peter Wylie has left the club after four seasons.
Having been at Linnets for all but one of our Northern Premier League games, Peter has opted to sign for City of Liverool.
He made 114 appearances for Linnets, including eight as a sub, and scored three goals.
He now rejoins the former Linnets managerial duo, boss Michael Ellison and assistant Matt Cross.
Peter has always led by example on the field and conducted himself well.
We are sad to see Peter leave but thank him for his contribution to the club and send him our best wishes for the future.
