The Northern Premier League

Scott Reed

Position : -Goalkeeper

Scott is a former Welsh youth international 'keeper, a Victory Shield winner in 2015.

He first signed for Runcorn Linnets from Winsford United in March 2020 only for the Covid-19 pandemic to cut short the season with just the one appearance, against Marske United, under his belt.

He had joined North West Counties League club Winsford the previous month from their Premier Division rivals, Northwich Victoria.

Scott played for Manchester United at Under-9s level, his junior and youth career later taking him to Liverpool (from U10-U14) and Swansea City (U14-U18).

He moved into senior football, playing for Merthyr Town in the Southern Premier League and then on to Vics.

Scott returned to Runcorn Linnets in January 2022 but lost his starting place to Owen Mooney, who came in on loan from Wigan Athletic to complete the season after Scott had suffered a hand injury.

Scott left the club in the 2022-23 close season with incoming manager Dave Wild recruiting Andy Coughlin from Colwyn Bay.

Scott had spent the first half of the 2021-22 campaign at Bangor City, captaining the team at 20 years old.

Scott Reed is not available for sponsorship at this time.
