Stuart's first official Linnets appearance was in a home friendly against Vauxhall Motors in 2020-21, after he had featured in earlier pre-season matches as a trialist.

He is a Chester FC Academy graduate, who spent time on loan at Prescot Cables in the NPL and then NWCL Premier Division outfit Rylands (now Warrington Rylands 1906).

Hailing from Liverpool, Stuart is a versatile player with a keen eye for goal – having joined Chester from Oldham in March 2017.

The majority of his Linnets outings have been out wide.

Having not featured in the club's first two games of 2022-23, Stuart left Linnets to sign for Lower Breck in the NWCL.
